WIDOW’S MIGHT PRODUCTION LEAVE AUDIENCES IN AWE The 100 level Theater and Film arts students  gave a terrific and fascinating performance during their drama production which left parents, audiences and lecturers astonished by their wonderful style of acting which involves dancing, singing, colorful costumes, dialogue, gestures and drum beats. This triggered the audience and lecturers to give the students a standing ovation as they were all impressed by their performance.           The drama production titled “widows might” was produced by Prof. Frank Idoko. It took place in the prestigious Open Air Theatre on the 29th and 30th of October 2019 by 5:30pm and ended by 7:30pm.            The OAT was crowded with audiences, parents, students and lecturers that came from far and near to witness the event. AMCOMS Hike to Amazah Water Falls It was all smiles and fun as students from the department of mass communication as well as other FASAites witnessed yet another successful hike that was organized by the EXCOs of the department of mass communication which kick-starts the 2019 AMCOMS Weeek. The event kick-started in the early hours of 26th October 2019 at exactly 7:00am. Students converged at Mazah junction to prepare for the hike that started from the Mazah Hill and ended at the Amazah Water Falls. The Director of Socials of the department of mass communication in person of Idoko Francis, during an interview, expressed gratitude to God and also the students who made the event a huge success by making time to participate in the event. REVIEW OF ONGOING CONSTRUCTIONS AT THE NARAGUTA CAMPUS  There have been various constructions at the University of Jos Naraguta Campus in the quest to relocate the university main campus at Bauchi Road to the permanent site at the Naraguta Campus. In this respect, the vice chancellor Prof. Sebastine S. Maimako has commissioned various constructions which include faculties and lecture halls. The faculty of engineering has been completed and commissioned, likewise the faculty of management science but yet to be put into use. Some abandoned constructions of lecture halls at the faculty of social science are now commissioned and currently under construction. Some lecture halls are under construction beside the new faculty of engineering, while at the faculty of education some lecture halls are also been under construction. 400 LEVEL and 2oo LEVEL WIN AMCOMS 2018/2019 HOD’S CUP Home » News » 400 LEVEL and 2oo LEVEL WIN AMCOMS 2018/2019 HOD’S CUP The 2018/2019 AMCOMS HOD’s  Cup kick started on Tuesday 29th October at the  5 aside pitch at the Naraguta hostel with the female category in which 100 level took against 300 level and witnessed the first half which began at 9am ended in a goalless draw with the two sides playing good football. With the kick  off of the second half, 300 level found the back of the net and then in the 80th minute they added another goal which led them to their victory over 100 level and qualifying for the finals. The male category took place at the pitch behind new general hostel at about 11; 15 am in which 300 level had a 3 – nil victory over 100 level again which eliminated 100 level from the tournament. AMCOMS CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF THE DEANS CUP The department of mass communication (AMCOMS) thrilled the whole Faculty of Arts (FASA) on the 8th of November, 2019 by getting pass the whole department in the Faculty to a tremendous victory winning all trophies in all categories which are football male and female category, and volleyball. The female category finals which the department of mass communication was to take on the department of music on the 8th of November 2019, at the five aside pitch at Naraguta hostel, but unfortunately the department of music did not show up to play so there were given a walk over in which the department of mass communication were crowned champions of the 2018/2019 FASA Dean’s Cup.
