AMCOMS CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF THE DEANS CUP

The department of mass communication (AMCOMS) thrilled the whole Faculty of Arts (FASA) on the 8th of November, 2019 by getting pass the whole department in the Faculty to a tremendous victory winning all trophies in all categories which are football male and female category, and volleyball.
The female category finals which the department of mass communication was to take on the department of music on the 8th of November 2019, at the five aside pitch at Naraguta hostel, but unfortunately the department of music did not show up to play so there were given a walk over in which the department of mass communication were crowned champions of the 2018/2019 FASA Dean’s Cup.
The male category finals took place at the pitch behind the PG hostel at about 5:15pm with the department of mass communication taking on the Department of Religion and Philosophy (REPSA). REPSA kick started the event but in the 10th minute AMCOMS found the back of the net with a strike from Philip Ishaku, a 400 level mass communication student. The match ended 1-nil in favour of mass communication crowning them champions of the 2018/2019 FASA Dean’s cup male category.
In the volleyball category, AMCOMS took on REPSA  by 2: 00pm on the 8th of November, 2019 at the volleyball pitch behind Zion hostel Naraguta Campus in which mass communication also emerged victorious crowning them champions of the 2018/2019 FASA volleyball deans cup.
